May’s Hawaii Hawaiian Style Pork Adobo Spring Rolls

First, the warm crunch.  Second, the intense flavors exploding across your taste buds.   Third, a little delicious drop of juice running toward your chin.  Finally, a smile of complete culinary satisfaction.  So small a bite, and yet, an amazing amount of flavor and joy.   The May’s Hawaii Hawaiian Style Pork Adobo Spring Roll.  A single bite of happiness; we encourage you to eat a lot of them!

May’s Hawaii Kalua Pork Spring Rolls

  • 1 packet May's Hawaii Kalua Pork, 12 oz
  • 2 tablespoons Minced Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil
  • 1 cup Green Cabbage (Julienned)
  • .5 cup Taro (Julienned)
  • 8 Shitake Mushrooms (Sliced)
  • .25 cup Green Onion (Sliced)
  • 1 packet Spring Roll Wrappers (4.5" x 5.5")
  • 1 quart Vegetable Oil


Step 1
Egg Wash. In a small bowl, whip 2 large eggs with two tablespoons of water.
Step 2
In a sauté pan, heat up 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil and sauté minced garlic, ginger, and green onion. Add in mushrooms, cabbage and taro. Cook thoroughly, and then add one package of May’s Hawaii Kalua Pork. Toss and mix well with vegetable mixture. Last, add oyster sauce and sesame oil.
Step 3
Lay out spring roll wrapper and fill with 2 oz. May's Hawaii Kalua pork filling. Fold bottom corner of the wrapper over filling, then fold inside corners. Brush top corner with egg wash and roll up wrapper tightly to enclose filling.
Step 4
Heat 2 inches of vegetable oil in a fry pan to 350 F degrees. Place Spring Rolls into heated oil and fry, turning occasionally, until golden brown. Remove form oil and drain on paper towels. Place on serving plate and garnish. Cut and serve the spring rolls with your favorite dipping sauce.
