May’s Hawaii Karaage Teriyaki Chicken

Serves 4-6


  • 2lb May's Hawaii Teriyaki Chicken Thighs (cut into 2 inch size pieces)
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • Ground Black pepper (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup Corn Starch
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil


Step 1
Cut teriyaki chicken thighs into 5-6, two inch pieces.
Step 2
In a medium size bowl, mix soy sauce, garlic and ginger with chicken. Let it sit for ½ hour.
Step 3
Mix flour, corn starch and pepper in another bowl. Coat marinated chicken pieces with corn starch mixture.
Step 4
Heat oil at medium high heat (350F). Deep fry for 5-8 minutes depending on the size of meat.
